she has performed in many of the masterworks of the choral repertoire,

Wuorinen's Haroun and the Sea of Stories.
Each spring she has also taken part in the VOX: Showcasing American
Composers festival.
In her private coaching studio, Ms. Newman's clientele includes
soloists from The Metropolitan Opera, New York City Opera, San
Francisco Opera, and many European and American regional companies.
As a recitalist, she has appeared on distinguished stages in and
outside New York, including Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Hall, The
Tilles Center, Town Hall, and the Curtis Institute.
